They call it the Mitchell Report.  It basically exposed some celebs and athletes using HGH, and it went to the Senate and everything.  Essentially speaking, Roger Clemens was given up by an ex-Yankee trainer who is now Senator George Mitchell, hence the name.  He also said that Debbie Clemens, wife of Roger Clemens had also been injected by choice, because she was preparing for a photo shoot at the time.  And of course, they knew perfectly well at the time that it was not only illegal, but also banned specifically in the MLB.  But apparently Clemens thought he could get past it, because it was at that time extremely hard to test for, and it is done pretty specifically even now.  There are plenty of athletes saying take the blood if you need to, volunteering because they know that it’s not a big deal and frankly they have nothing to hide.  But Clemens is not only denying it, he is one of a number of players complaining about the MLB doing one more test on the blood or urine they randomly take anyway to test for steroids and other substances.  Frankly, unless you have something to hide, I don’t see what the big deal is.  But Clemens is an interesting one, because why HGH when he’s never been caught using other substances like steroids?
